Bull crap

Since when is it commonplace to insult the last person you were potentially tied to in your OkCupid profile?  I’m sure it’s happened to more than just me. There was the one guy I had spoken of in a previous entry, and now there’s another one.

The thing that confuses me is that in both instances it was something that they did or said to make me not want to talk to them any more.  I would begin to give them the benefit of the doubt, and when I started considering contacting them again to apologize for my lack of communication, bam!, insults flood their profiles.

The most amusing part of this is that they are both 30-somethings.  It feels more like when a 13 year old boy is losing an argument, and instead of trying to hold their ground or attempting to give in gracefully, they start calling people names.

I’m sorry, the last time I checked, I exited puberty.  I’m not falling for this bull crap.

And a word to the wise:  A girl isn’t going to be likely to reply to your messages if she reads your attacks to another girl in your profile.
